Guidance
Margaret Donnelly
is the school
counselor for Martin Elementary School. She began her career in education
ins 1988 with Cumberland County Schools. Her first year she taught 6th grade
at Martin Elementary. She then spent the next seven years teaching sixth,
seventh and third grades at Homestead Elementary. Upon completing her Masters
and Specialist in Education, Educational Psychology and Counselor Education,
Mrs. Donnelly came to Martin Elementary as school counselor in 1996.
Outside of school, Mrs. Donnelly enjoys spending time with her family and
friends. She is married to Steve Donnelly and they have a yellow lab named
Samson. She also enjoys staying busy in various community, professional and
charitable organizations. Shopping (a.k.a. - retail therapy), traveling and
reading are among the hobbies she enjoys. Attending the University of Tennessee
Volunteer football games and cheering on the Big Orange at home and away is
also a favorite activity for Mrs. Donnelly.
Robin Hull
(Mrs. Robin) is the Project B.A.S.I.C. (Better Attitude and Skills in Children) service provider at Martin Elementary. She began her counseling career in 1997 at Cumberland Mountain Mental Health Center. Mrs. Robin was a general outpatient counselor and the counselor for the children's treatment team before she came to Martin in 2001. She provides individual and group counseling services for grades K-3. She also makes classroom presentations on topics such as feelings, self-esteem, problem-solving, and peer pressure. Mrs. Robin is responsible for the Lunch Bunch and Student of the Month programs at Martin Elementary. Her husband Scott is a counselor for the Safe Schools Program in Cumberland County. She enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
